As Hephaistion, Colin Farrell's gay lover in Olivier Stone’s epic Alexander, Jared Leto doesn't get much action between the sheets. Instead he spends most of the time looking longingly into Colin's eyes while the great warrior conquers foreign lands instead of his cute little body. Totty Watch feels that Colin must need glasses as Jared is just plain heavenly and we’d be spending every moment in bed, not out of it!

Dumped by Cameron Diaz after four years and quickly snapped up by the lovely Scarlett Johansson - who obviously knows a good thing when she sees it - we want to see more of Jared - a lot, lot more.

Being a bit of a tease. When he was recently interviewed by Out magazine’s Degen Pener, Jared flicked Pener's nipple and said, "I know I'm gay. I must be gay. I fucking flicked your nipple." The jury's still out on that one.

More evidence was gathered when the tabloids were filled with pictures of Scarlett attempting to snog his face off while he was very unflatteringly sending a text message over her shoulder. To Ms Diaz we wonder?

Jared is well known for being a flirt. On the set of his new action thriller, Lord of War, his friendship with leading lady Tanit Pheonix was said to cause Scarlett concern. No wonder when Ms Pheonix claimed, "He was really flirty at first - he locked eyes with me a lot. He's so phenomenal. He is so beautiful. He's got the biggest blue eyes I've ever seen." Nothing like playing hard to get eh Tanit?

Jared had the tables turned on him though in Alexander. Poor Jared had to endure gorgeous Colin getting it on with just about everyone - except him! While Alexander has manic rumpy-pumpy with his barbarian queen wife, poor Hephaistion is forced to look on with frustration. Even the eunuch Bagaos, played by the very beautiful ballet dancer Francisco Bosch, manages to get his end away with the Great one. Is there no justice in this world? Still if you’re into voyeurism you could do a lot worse.

On the lack of gay sex between him and Colin, Jared has said: "If there had been, it would be the best man-on-man sex you've ever seen." Well, thanks to killjoy Oliver Stone, and with little hope of a sequel, we'll never know, but we can always imagine – and hope the DVD’s a little more revealing.

As far as his fans are concerned Jared is the ultimate tease with his career as well. He got us all hot and bothered when he played a gay teacher who Robert Downey Jr has the hots for in the hip exploration of mixed cultures, Black and White, and then he vanished.

He popped up again as a villain in Panic Room opposite Jodie Foster, but the highlight of his career was playing a desperate drug addict in cult movie Requiem for a Dream where he lost 25lbs to play the role convincingly.

However it's just not enough Jared. Get that beautiful arse in gear and jump-start it onto the silver screen more often please.

Worth Knowing
After his split with Cameron Jared and Britney Spears arrived arm in arm at Ben Affleck's birthday party. Rumours were rife that they were dating. More like a publicity stunt to make his ex Cameron and her ex Justin see red.

Jared is in a band called 30 Seconds to Mars. A heavy rock outfit that he takes extremely seriously and may be the reason why he doesn't make enough movies. If they're anything like Russell or Keanu's bands he needs some career advice.

He told Interview Magazine in 2002: "I don't like to live in a house, unless I have to. I would prefer living in a cave, with a door. Maybe a giant hobbit cave, with furry rugs." Was he method acting when he did Requiem?

Jared's not much of a talker and his love life is usually off limits in interviews. So who knows whether tweaking gay boys nipples is merely a blatant publicity stunt - in order to entice a gay audience into watching a film about a gay king who does hardly anything gay at all - or a repressed desire to publicly out himself.
