He's our favourite son of a preacher man - Peyton! He goes all deep and meaningful on our ass again. His musical cup runneth over with positive vibes, which is what Peyton does best. He actually speaks as well as sings on this (how very Axwell 'Wonderful Word'). It's the first time we've heard that deep sexy voice. If you having a bad hair/soul day, this will have you skipping your way out of the black looming cloud and jumping feet first into the centre of the ruddy rainbow. A little Eau De Candi Staton's 'You've got the love'. Group hugs everyone...

Upbeat, feel good and credit crunch proof this is my selection fr'm the excellent Hed Kandi Disco Heaven compilation available at GaydarRadioJukebox.com. This is the more soulful end of house and has a hook that'll have you shimmying around your............(insert your own location here please!!). Other great tracks on the compilation include Antigone and Levi 5 star. Enjoy and get downloading!

This is a great example of the filtered funky house sound I just love. Tanya Louise's vocal sits beautifully on top of a well crafter production by Oretga combing sublimely to create a summer beach party atmosphere.

Now here we have an odd one. If you stripped back the production and had the vocal on its own, you could say the chorus is a tad cheesy in a Euro anthem-type style. Not quite Culture Beat or Vengaboys though, because thankfully we have Terri B's gutsy vocal. The catchy 'Oh La La La' refrain will make you think of sunnier climes and waking up on the beach with a stonking hangover wondering where the hell you are, and it will have you longing for the weekend with its positive vibe. Nice!
