Sir Elton John’s re-release of the classis song, `Are You Ready For Love` has gone straight into the charts at number one after being revived for a TV advert for Sky Sports.

The song was originally released in May 1979 when it made it to number 42 in the pop chart. His other number ones are ‘Candle In The Wind’, ‘Sacrifice’ and ‘Don`t Go Breaking My Heart’.

Meanwhile, it also emerged this weekend that Elton is rumoured to have signed a £34m, two-year deal to perform at hundreds of concerts at the 4,148-seat Colosseum Theatre at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

He will perform when Celine Dion has time off.
