What made you decide to open the guesthouse?
We were able to buy this beautiful canal house along the Herengracht in Amsterdam only if we found a way to exploit it.

In your opinion, what is its best feature?
The beautiful building dating back to 1617 located along the Herengracht canal.

What’s been the most memorable moment for you while running the guesthouse?
The compliments that guests pay us!

And the worst?
An Irish guest trying to leave without paying!

Is there a gay scene nearby?
We are in the heart of Amsterdam - there is no escaping!

What is there to do in the local area?
Restaurants, cafe`s, bars, art galleries, museums, monuments, Royal Palace, Anne Frank house, Wester Church etc…

Is there an `average` gay traveller who uses your accommodation?
We have a very wide range of visitors.

What services and facilities do you offer?
Rooms with own bathroom, breakfast area, quaint antique building. Best atmosphere!

Where do you like to go when you go on holiday?
Amsterdam - to be honest I’m very addicted to Amsterdam.
